Shutterstock_54824728 Creating your visible platform on the Web is closely intertwined with managing your online reputation and to that end you must control the conversation (as much as you can).

I was reminded of this when I saw a quote by Seth Godin in a daily e-newsletter I receive.

You will never keep people from talking. But you can take actions to influence the content of what they say.
–Seth Godin, marketing guru, writing on his blog

You need to dominate the search engine results with content you create: on your blog (top priority!), on Facebook status updates, and on your tweets.

When your content is relevant, provides value and solves your ideal clients' problems, there's a good chance that what people say about you will be positive and position you in a good light.

Do you know what people are saying about you?

    Hi Denise,

    I couldn’t
    agree with you more.

    If you want to
be seen as a key person of influence in your industry, you must create content
that educates, inspires of entertains your audience.

    Regards,

    James Debono
