Facebook Ads That Convert [webinar replay]

By Denise Wakeman

Facebook Ads That Convert, the webinar I recently hosted with Amy Porterfield, was a huge success with nearly 500 registered attendees. Because many people were not able to attend at the scheduled time, I talked Amy into creating a recorded webinar replay that you can attend at your convenience. You pick the date and time you want to watch the webinar.

This is the exact webinar recording from the event I hosted. Amy delivered excellent tips about how to use Facebook Ads to get more fans, get more engagement from those fans, and convert fans into buyers.

Facebook Ads That Convert with Amy PorterfieldYou'll learn:

  • Easy, proven techniques to turn a Facebook status update into real profit
  • Detailed, step-by-step training to make sure your ad targets your perfect, ideal customer
  • Discover the #1 reason most ads get rejected (This one will surprise you!)
  • How to decide which ad type will deliver BIG conversions for your business (Hint: It depends on what you’re marketing!)
  • 3 little-known reasons why your ads aren’t making you money
Here's what one of my clients said about the webinar:
"Listened to the replay of your webinar with Amy Porterfield. Wow. SOOOO many tips and ideas for Facebook Ads, that I am re-listening again and taking detailed notes, because I am going to immediately put these strategies to work to promote my teleseminar on Facebook." ~ Michelle Roberts Bukta
It's also the second time I've attended Amy's webinar and she shared more examples and case studies than the first time.

Definitely worth your time to watch, take notes and take immediate action if you want to make your Facebook page work for your business.

Use this link to learn how to put Facebook Ads to work for you! [I don’t know how long Amy will make this recorded webinar available so I recommend you register and watch it ASAP.]

What’s Your Facebook Visibility Plan?

By Denise Wakeman

blankWhat is the visibility plan for your Facebook page? There is an ongoing discussion about how to show up in the news feed on Facebook and why it's so important…about 90% of Facebook users do all their interaction via the news feed…not on your page!

In an impromptu webinar on Facebook, Mari Smith shared a link to a white paper by Buddy Media about Facebook's EdgeRank algorithm and what you can do to consistently show up in your fans' news feed. I addressed a few ways in my post 6 Ways to Engage Your Facebook Fans. However the white paper goes deeper and explains EdgeRank which is a mystery to me.

The white paper (you have to opt in to get the download link) shares 10 tips with examples on how to optimize the content on your page giving you a better chance to stay in front of your fans.

With nearly 700,000,000 users on Facebook, it's a good bet your ideal client is hanging out there at some point during their week. If they are looking for and getting content they want on social networks, then you need to be strategic to get their attention so you're not wasting your time and effort.

The white paper will give you some ideas about what type of content you can create to get noticed. Then, you need a plan…

9 Steps to Create Visibility and Buzz on Your Facebook Page

By Denise Wakeman

In the last couple of months I stumbled on a great way to generate a lot of activity and buzz on my Facebook page. In my post on 6 Ways to Engage Your Facebook Fans, #5 was about inviting your fans to share links.

5. Invite your fans to share links to their site/blog/fan page/twitter. My monthly Brag About Your Blog Day has become quite popular. Recently over 200 people bragged about and posted links to their blog. It was an awesome way to learn about what people are doing, what their interests are find potential JV partners and guest posting opportunities.

I just hosted another Brag About Your Blog Day and the results surpassed last month. Nearly 300 people posted links to their blog along with a short description about the topic of their blog.

Brag About Your Blog Day Boosts Visibility

By Denise Wakeman

About once a month I host Brag About Your Blog day on my Facebook wall. A couple of months ago over 200 people bragged about their blogs! Not only did the bloggers get a lot of visibility on my Wall, they also benefited from additional posts on Facebook as well as a lot of tweeting about the opportunity.

WomanBloggertoWatchSM2 But the biggest visibility opp showed up a couple weeks later. I started seeing posts on Facebook thanking me for my good blogging karma and I had no idea what was being referred to. When I checked out a post, I followed a link to an article on WE Magazine called 101 Women Bloggers to Watch in 2011. Editor Heidi Richards had culled the list of blogs posted on my wall and featured dozens of the women who had taken the opportunity to brag about their blog. It was so cool! Quite a few of my blogging clients and friends were on the list.

Once again, these savvy bloggers are reaping the rewards with more visibility – shout outs of thanks and congratulations on Facebook and Twitter, comments on the original blog post, and related blog posts like this one which in the end drive more traffic and engagement on their sites.

What are you doing to boost the visibility of your blog? Visibility is what creates trust, credibilty and drives more traffic, leads and enagement on your blog. Like a product or service, your blog requires consistent promotion so your audience doesn't forget about you!

Check out the list of exceptional women and make sure you "like" my page so you don't miss the next Brag About Your Blog Day coming soon!

6 Ways to Engage Your Facebook Fans

By Denise Wakeman

Shutterstock_54824728 Are you actively and consistently engaging your community on Facebook?

Once you have your page set up and a landing tab to generate leads, then what? Do you have a strategy for your business page?

When I set up the Blog Squad page a couple of years ago, I simply syndicated my blog posts and forgot about the whole thing. Obviously that's not going to work for long and I've changed my ways.

My goal is to be a go-to resource for info on business blogging and boosting visibility on the web. I view the page as a way to connect, engage and move people to my primary content sources – my hub – my blog – where they can get a lot more info from me. I also use the page as a lead generator by offering two freebies: 5 videos on business blogging and 7 tips for boosting online visibility.

But engagement is key because without that, most people won't opt in to the free stuff or click on a link to check out a blog post or special offer. To get a sense of where you're currently getting the best results, review your stats (Insights) to see which posts get the most action. [Read more…]
