For the relaunch of Conversations with Experts, an occasional hangout show, I am delighted to feature my business coach, mentor and colleague, Andrea J. Lee. Our topic, which struck a nerve with the live audience, is 7 Surprising Strategies of Forward Thinking Entrepreneurs. The 60 minute video contains many gems and invitations to rethink how you approach your business so you can make a bigger impact in the world.
Andrea J. Lee is an Entrepreneurial Futurist with her finger on the pulse of the entrepreneurial spirit and how it can shows up to change the world.
Throughout her life, Andrea has done one thing – help those she loves make money. Not once, but twice, she has helped reinvent the coaching industry and knows just one thing for sure: the entrepreneurial spirit is everywhere, looking for a place to make a difference.
Andrea is the trusted source of coaching pioneer Thomas Leonard’s intellectual property, the architect behind the Pink Spoon Marketing craze, and her company was named by Seth Godin and Fast Company Magazine as one of the extraordinary ‘Bull Market’ companies helping their clients stand out and prosper.
On the Hangout Andrea and I discuss:
- How to be proactive about overwhelm
- How to prioritize decisions
- How to follow the path less traveled
- What it means to be a leader
- and so much more…
The conversation has been getting rave reviews along the lines of what you see from Jon Leland of ComBridges…
A huge bonus from this Conversation is a graphic recording created by Carolyn Ellis of BrillianceMastery.com. This is the “Cliff Notes” version you can use to get the essence of what we discussed.

During the Hangout, Andrea invited the audience to post about the strategies that resonated the most with them. I invite you to do the same. For me, strategy #1 is one I struggle with from time to time. As Andrea says, “saying no, gives you the space to say yes.” For me, I tend to say “yes” more than “no” and suffer from FOMO… fear of missing out. That gets me in trouble sometimes when I find myself overwhelmed and over-committed.
