In 2004, I started blogging for my business and realized it was a game-changer for entrepreneurs and small businesses. I began teaching, training and consulting with business owners on how to integrate blogging into their business. As the tools evolved, my work evolved to include social and email marketing, creating a holistic approach to building a business on the Web.
As an early adopter and active experimenter, I’ve jumped on just about every social network as it came online. My role is a guide, helping you navigate through myriad platforms begging for your attention. It’s my job to use and evaluate the tools, then recommend what and how to use the tools based on a strategy customized for each business and its goals.
A trip to Peru in 2013, brought some things to light for me. I’ve always loved traveling, but I’d always kept my personal adventures separate from my business life. I realized that it was all part and parcel of the same thing. I needed to bring that adventurous spirit into my work, too.
Business is an adventure for me. Experimenting and trying new tools, tactics and strategies are all about adventure. It’s about taking risks in one way or another. They may not work, but they may work. If you don’t say “yes” and try, you don’t know. So, I started integrating the concept of adventure into my business, and Adventures in Visibility was born. I create a safe, motivating space for clients to experiment, learn and ultimately build their business with strategies, tactics, and online tools that are right for their business goals.
I walk my talk and over 20 years, have created a powerful, visible presence and taught others to do the same.
