BTW, the most clicked link in the last 5 Things was for Amazon’s World Book Day. While the free books are no longer free, you can still learn about and buy the books recommended, written by authors around the world.

Now, here are the 5 Things to read or use for your personal and professional development:

1. Let’s start with beautiful photographs! This place is now on my “must-experience” list when travel is allowed again. The Most Beautiful Flower Garden In The World Has No Visitors For The First Time In 71 Years And I Got To Capture It (31 Pics)

2. If you’re wondering who could use your help with donations or virtual volunteering: Here’s How You Can Change Lives in the Pandemic

3. Are you prone to “optimism bias?” Why we find it difficult to recognise a crisis.

4. This is worth paying $1.50 for (support the person who created it!) so you can print it out and use it daily… Isolation Mental Health Wellbeing Daily To-Do List Worksheet.

5. Ann Handley, the author of Everybody Writes, offered a free webinar about her approach to writing. It was brilliant. From her presentation style to her enthusiasm and use of the children’s book, Charlotte’s Web to teach her points, I was hooked every minute. You can watch the replay at Marketing Profs, though you must sign up for a free membership to do so. It’s worth it.

What are you doing to stay mentally and emotionally healthy?
In my breaks from staying on top of my business and to clear my head of Covid-19 news, I’ve been bouncing between reading Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari and rewatching all 5 seasons of The Wire after HBO opened access with no subscription required. Best. Show. Ever. Any other fans out there?

Now, here are the 5 Things to read or watch while you #stayathome:

1. April 23, 2005, the first-ever YouTube video was uploaded. Here it is.

2. Thanks to my fave morning new email, Morning Brew, I discovered a slew of Quarantine Book Recommendations via Literary Hub. It also happened to be World Book Day on April 23 and you can get 9 free Kindle ebooks on Amazon through the end of today (sorry, this special has expired)

3. As a card-carrying introvert, I can relate…Yes, Even Introverts Can Be Lonely Right Now.

4. I don’t entirely agree with the last point… 8 science-backed ways to boost resilience during the COVID-19 crisis.

5. And for a hit of beauty and peace: Coyotes, bobcats and bears: Wildlife is reclaiming Yosemite National Park .

One more thing, if you’re curious about Intermittent Fasting, my colleague Ellen Britt and I are hosting our second 10-Day Intermittent Fasting Challenge, starting May 4. Details here.

Where will your online business be in 3 months?

Take a moment and remind yourself…how many followers and friends do you have on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter?

How many visitors do you get to your blog and amazing articles?

And, how many of those visitors opt in to your list and turn into new clients, investing in your offers?

Whether you identify as an outgoing person or a little shyer, it actually doesn't matter…simply ask yourself…

…How great would it feel to have hundreds more of all of the above? How about 100% more than you have now?

Recently, I’ve been doing some deep contemplation and realized something important that might help you too. I realized a lot of my success is because I’m an introvert. Yes, really! Where I thought I had to force myself to be extroverted, actually, being more introverted has really helped me succeed on the Internet.

In fact, I discovered that lots of entrepreneurs – perhaps you, too – also consider themselves introverts and many struggle with – and even hate – conventional ways of marketing like networking, speaking, etc. Are you in that category?

Do the most guru-recommended business-building tactics make you cringe? You’re doing some of the things you’re supposed to do, but you grit your teeth and it’s certainly not easy! Maybe it’s so clear most ‘to do’ lists for entrepreneurs are for extroverted types, you’ve wondered if entrepreneurship is even for you anymore!

That's when it came to me: I must share the introvert-friendly tactics that allow you to breathe, be exactly who you are, and create significant visibility that leads to increased income.

Because when you stop trying to do things that aren’t natural… a LOT of energy is freed up, results start to flow, and you even start loving your work again.

Imagine going from stuck, feeling guilty, and not getting enough results to the ease, freedom and income of going with your natural introverted STRENGTHS!

This is so important, that I’ve decided to create an intimate group mentoring program just for introverts who want to boost their visibility, reach more of their perfect clients, and increase their income.

You actually may not think of yourself as an introvert, and since that's not a question I've ever asked, I don't know, but I’m going to guess.

I do know you could definitely use more income-generating visibility. And the introvert-friendly tactics I want to empower you with can help you certainly do that without ever having to leave the house!

If that appeals to you, then I invite you to click here to learn about my – surprisingly affordable – online visibility mentoring program for introverted entrepreneurs.

The truth is, if we dig in now, by September, you could have an entirely different report card as for as your online reach is concerned.

And, we all know how important these number are to your bottom line…
