Just getting to these things now... but I love the way you are showing up and using it as a catalyst. If anything I get swayed more in the negative by slickly produced video with people who are dressed to the nines. Not that there is anything wrong with looking formal and sharp, but I have a hard time feeling like I would fit in that tribe (which is good right there) and I end up with a bias that says - so what are they hiding?

If the content is good and the person is authentic, that is all that matters to me. I have watched and worked with brands that are slick and those that are more flip flops and shorts. Most importantly I need to be able to relate and feel the human behind the brand.

Hope you are healing! And that Louie is taking it easy on you (you know with can opening his food, cleaning the box, etc.)

Thanks for showing up, Denise! Big, drapey scarves are something to consider for your videos since you can't get your hurt arm through a dress shirt or sweater. They'll easily cover your sweatshirt and are easy to put on and take off one-handed.

Sorry that you're struggling, Denise - I admire your resilience and commitment to your trade. As for me, the older I get the more important it is to deliver the goods than focus on looking good.

Following you for a long time, I've learned that your clients always come first. So whenever I see a post, I know I'll find quality information. Like your message here about showing up. And the picture of a lovely flower on the trail describes how broadening our perspective can help us feel better.
