One thing to keep in mind when you post a review is your tone. If you were not happy with the product or service you are reviewing, keep it civil. Your review not only reflects on the product but on you as the reviewer. Don't be a hater.  Whenever you do an online review, whether or not it's favorable, if you're honest and respectful, it cannot hurt you. Being mean and derogatory will hurt your personal brand, in my opinion. But constructive feedback that's delivered with respect will not hurt you.
