Hey David, thanks for stopping by. I don&#039;t know iTunes&#039; policy for duplicate content. I always say test and see which is more popular. As far as visibility is concerned, it would seem you&#039;re doubling your chances of attracting audiences for each format. I haven&#039;t tried what you&#039;re contemplating so I don&#039;t have a good answer for you. Try it and let me know how it goes!]]></description>

I have a question.

What do you think of creating a video podcast and then extracting the audio and creating an audio podcast and submitting both to itunes as two separate podcasts?

iTunes has an audio podcast category and a video podcast category. 

I want to do a video podcast to post on my blog, simply to create a more intimate relationship with my readers. But I&#039;ll also post the audio podcast there on the blog as well.

Do you think I&#039;ll get more visibility in iTunes doing it this way?
