Is 2015 the Year of Better Visibility and more business opportunities for you? If so, please read on… (scroll down to get the book give-away info!)
No matter how much visibility you have now, it could be better, right? This is something I feel quite urgent about, especially when I talk to entrepreneurs who are struggling to get on the radar of more people they can serve. Usually they’re not sure what to do so they don’t do much of anything. If that describes how you feel, the truth is that if you don’t address your visibility needs sooner rather than later, it’s going to continue to be a long, tough, uphill slog.
But, it doesn’t have to be.
The more people who see you around the Web, are aware of what you’re up to, connect with you and engage with your content on social networks, the more opportunities you will attract. I experience it daily and have seen it happen for others. But, and it’s a big “but,” you have to be consistent and focused with your efforts.
I know you want to make more sales and have more clients. I get it. And, before you can do that, you need a foundation, just like when you build a house. It makes me crazy when I speak with entrepreneurs who want to skip this part and go straight to the offer. You cannot skip the foundation. And, in this case, your foundation is an audience of people who follow you, are interested in what you do, and want what you offer.
Building the foundation takes daily action. It’s about building relationships, sharing your expertise and then, finally, making an offer. Not the other way around. It also takes time. It’s a long-term play. You can’t expect great results if you start your visibility campaign a week before your book or product or service launches.
If you want to become a known expert, get invitations to speak, be a guest on podcasts and hangouts, contribute to books, present at conferences, then you need to be known and your presence must be strong, easy to find and consistent. There are no shortcuts.
You know all this, but you can’t seem to stay focused and consistent with your social marketing, right?
Imagine what a difference spending just 30 minutes a day marketing your business could do for your visibility. It’s a tiny investment of time yet it could make a huge difference. Now, imagine 30 minutes a day for 30 focused days…
That’s why I’m hosting the 30 Day Online Visibility Challenge…
…30 days devoted to getting your business found, seen and known by more people.
- 4 weeks of group mentoring focused on building your presence on the Web
- Four live group coaching sessions, up to 90 minutes each
- short teaching segments about visibility tips and tactics that work
- a weekly Visibility challenge
- laser coaching to answer your burning questions and support your success
- Private Facebook Group for online coaching between calls, Q&A and accountability. Gentle call-outs to make sure you’re moving forward and sharing your results.
- One on one “next steps” planning session with me at the end of the program.
The weekly Challenge will be specific and focus on using various social platforms to boost your visibility. I’ll share simple strategies and tactics you can experiment with and use in the Challenges. You will track your before and after numbers so you can learn what works best for your audience.
Why now?
(Here’s the part about how to win a copy of Seth Godin’s new book!)
What better way to start a new year? It’s time to get this done. It’s time to take advantage of the energy around new beginnings associated with the New Year. And you know that Chinese proverb about the best time to plant a tree?
It’s the same for building your online visibility. Don’t worry about what didn’t get done in the past. Today is the perfect day to take action and begin!
And! I have four copies of Seth Godin’s brand new book, It’s Your Turn, that I want to give away as a gift for fast-action-takers. Godin’s book is only available on his site and it’s currently back-ordered, that’s how popular it is. This is a beautiful, full-color, softcover book. Here’s what Godin says about it…
This is an urgent call to do the work we’re hiding from, a manifesto about living with things that might not work and embracing tension when doing your art.
Explores, as directly as I can, the dance we all have to do with our fears, the tension we all must embrace in order to do work that we care about. It pushes us to dig deep inside so we can do better work and impact the things we care about.
Is urgent, personal, in-your-face and as honest as I could make it.
Here’s the deal…when you register for the 30 Day Online Visibility Challenge by Monday, December 22, you will be entered in a random drawing to win one of the 4 copies I have. I will use Random.org to choose the winner. The book, if you were to buy it, is $34 plus shipping. I’ll be shipping the winners’ books at my expense before January 1.
Congratulations to the four winners of Seth Godin’s book, It’s Your Turn!
