Denise,
Great post. This strategy works! I currently have only one book on Kindle but will have two more out by February. It’s a great way to reach an entirely new market. I have a question though. There’s some debate over whether you should have an “author” website. I have Powered by Intuition, which is the site I’m known for. I can’t see directing traffic to another site, even it it’s under my name. What do you think?

That is a great guest article by Kathleen and it’s a great reminder that you can re-purpose content to create a book such as transcribing a webinar you deliver or a teleseminar.
I know you have done that very successfully too Denise and I love the way that you have encouraged people to ‘sample’ your work through the special offers you have run on Kindle.

Thank you, Krishna! Have you published on Kindle yet?

I’ve been publishing on Kindle for about 18 months. When I realized I could convert my existing ebooks and reports to the Kindle format, I knew I could not afford to ignore the power of being visible on Amazon. As you say, one probably won’t get rich but hey, a dollar is a dollar and I get a payment every month from sales of my reports on Amazon. Looking forward to the webinar on how to make Kindle ebooks bestsellers!
