As I spend more time on LinkedIn, I realize how many ways there are to 1) create visibility and 2) drive traffic to your blog.
In this 4:57 minute video I show you eight ways you can use LinkedIn to showcase your blog and send your connections back to your site so you can share more of your expertise and (hopefully) entice them to take some action that will provide a deeper connection with you. (Don't forget, once you get people to your blog, you need to have a call to action so they don't disappear forever!)
How do you use LinkedIn for visibility and traffic generation? Please post your tips below!

Great video, Denise. I’m using most of your mentioned strategies already and recommend them to my clients. I also like to comment on other people’s posts in the newsfeed, it might get some people curious and come and visit your profile

Thank you, Sarah. Great tip about commenting on the newsfeed. I am sporadic about doing that. I think that although people are very comfortable commenting on status updates on Facebook, they don’t realize they have the same opportunity on LinkedIn. My pet peeve there, though, is that too many people syndicate their twitter feed to LI and it’s messy and most of the time the tweets are not relevant to the LinkedIn environment.

very true, I don’t like the tweets in my LinkedIn news feed either !
