Spend a month with me (virtually) in Cusco, Peru, one of my favorite places in the world!
UPDATES
September 13: I’ve created an album featuring pictures from the #LaresTrek with Ukumari Expeditions (4 nights/5 days).
September 4: While in Cusco, I’m reviewing restaurants and attractions I’m visiting. You can check out my reviews on TripAdvisor.
August 31: I’ve been in Cusco for a week and love this city! It’s beautiful, nestled in a valley in the Andes. I’m going photo crazy and discovered a lot of my friends on Facebook love pictures of doors. I started an album and I’m sharing a Door of the Day each morning.
I’ve been to Peru twice – in 2012 and 2013. I trekked to Machu Picchu and I explored the Sacred Valley, stayed with a family in Amaru and spent several days on a protected oxbow lake in the Amazon.
Now, I’m back to hang out for a month in Cusco, the Inca capital of Peru. I’m exploring the “laptop lifestyle” where I can live anywhere in the world, as long as I have a good wifi connection and continue to serve my clients and students.
I’ve chosen Cusco because I love Peru. I have a friend who lives there, and it’s a good experiment for me to see if I want to do this in other places around the world (like Paris!). I’m also registered for an immersive Spanish program for a couple of weeks while I’m there, at Maximo Nivel.
Inspired by my friend Mia Voss, a brand ambassador, I reached out to a couple of businesses to sponsor parts of my trip in exchange for some online visibility.
I’m super excited to announce that Ukumari Expeditions is the primary sponsor for this adventure. Silver Ballón Valenzuela, owner/operator of Ukumari Expeditions is a guide, friend, and advisor for my stay in Cusco.
With Ukumari Expeditions, a travel company, you are encouraged, supported, and inspired to step off the beaten path, and immerse yourself in the extraordinary Andean culture.
