7 Tips to Boost Your Visibility

When I talk about boosting visibility, what I’m talking about is making sure you are findable on the Web. One of the things I tell my clients is that if your ideal client cannot find you on the Web, then you don’t exist. Sad but true.

Regardless of whether you have a bricks and mortar business or an online only business, your clients, your customers, your patients, your diners, whatever you call them, they are going online to find solutions to their problems. When they are typing their problem into a search engine like Google, what do they find? What service, what business do they find? Is it yours? That’s the key question. You want your ideal client to find you.

One of the ways you do this is by ensuring you have massive visibility on the Web – in all the right places. The first place to focus is on your foundation – making sure you have a powerful, effective, engaging blog for your business. This is your personal real estate on the Web where you create your credibility, where you establish your authority in your niche, and demonstrate your expertise. It involves around making sure your content is fantastic, that you’re consistently publishing new content on the web, and that you’re using keywords your potential client is using when they are searching for solutions your services provide.

Stephan Hovnanian's Testimonial for Denise WakemanThat is the essence of your online presence. Once you have the foundation built, then look at the other places where you need to be visible so no matter where your target audience is hanging out, they can find you. This is sometimes called the hub and spoke model. Outlying sites, or outposts, are social networking sites like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. There are myriad other niche sites where your content can be syndicated so it’s more easily found. Finding out where your target audience is spending time is a key component to your visibility strategy. It will guide your tactics. Here’s a cool visual representation of my online presence so you can see I walk my talk.

The focus of my work is helping you increase your online visibility by making sure the pieces are in place and creating a strategy with you to make sure you’re not spinning your wheels and your systems are working for you instead of against you.

You can automate and delegate a lot of tasks. However, you can never delegate your personal voice or your expertise. You can delegate maintenance of the systems that help you syndicate your content to the various sites on the web.

If you are a service professional, author, speaker, coach, consultant, or small business owners, I can help you put the pieces in place so you can share your gifts with the world. We’ll identify your online marketing goals and the specific elements that need to be put into place….what tools you need to use so you can express your authority and expertise. And, then, we’ll create an action and implementation plan to boost your visibility so you are driving people back to your home base. There, you have an opportunity to go deep and intimate with those new people and engage those prospects and readers, those people who are looking for a solution to a problem that you provide, so you can serve them with your expertise and transform more lives.

I offer a complimentary strategy session to those who are ready, willing and able to invest in the growth of their business. If that’s you, let’s talk!
